EQ-Wine Covers (see ad on page 7) on April 10 sponsored a show at Close By Ranch in San Miguel, and one of the big winners was Tammy Gillette of Lockwood, who won a “Classic” pasture shelter donated by EQ-Wine owners Jim and Shirley Fritsche. Single raffle tickets for the $795 shelter were given to each class entrant.

The Gaylord Rodeo Company will present the Del Mar Western Day Pro Rodeo at the Del Mar Fairgrounds Saturday May 14, with two full rodeo performances at noon and 6 p.m. Gates open at 10 a.m., so come early and shop, enjoy pony rides music and dancing, and more! A USEF Friesian Judges clinic will be held in Burbank in conjunction with the Fiesta of the Spanish Horse at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center May 4-8.
