Draft Horses and equipment head to Tulare this fall

The California Draft Horse and Equipment Sale returns to the Tulare County Fairgrounds on Oct. 30-Nov. 1, and consignments are under way for draft and saddle horses, mules, wagons, carriages, buggies, tack, horse trailers, antiques and collectibles. Visitors to this popular annual event can enjoy a free Draft Horse driving clinic conducted by the California Draft Horse and Mule Association, as well as the Fall Packers Challenge, hosted by the American Mule Association, and a Friesian demonstration and clinics with Jerry Tindell. The 30th Annual Norco Mounted Posse PRCA Rodeo heads to Norco Aug. 22-24, featuring bucking bulls, broncs, cowgirls and cowboys at the George Ingalls Equestrian Center. Banning Stagecoach Days has been a beloved annual event since 1957, when it was started to showcase their rich stagecoach history. This year’s event will be held Sept. 5-7 at A.C.
