Nine riders and a good turnout of spectators brought to life Bob and Dana Avila’s new ranch Sept. 6-7 during a boxing clinic put on by Avila and Ted Robinson.

Between the two of them, the National Reined Cow Horse Association Hall of Famers have 10 NRCHA Futurity Championships, four World’s Greatest Horseman titles and more than $3 million in lifetime earnings. Particpants included Linda Seeds of Redlands, Sheila Nash of San Diego, Merritt Rex of Anaheim Hills, Jamie Walters of Laguna Beach, Vicki Shook of San Juan Capistrano, Geno Giselli of Burbank, Linda Katz of West Hills, Ken Banks of Schulenburg, Texas, and Tina Bellini of Escondido.
