LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Organizers, certain 2017 will be its best year yet, are pointing out that the Las Vegas National, CSI4*-W is creating quite a buzz.

Especially on Spectacular Saturday, Nov. 18, when the doors open at 5 p.m. for jumping, jugglers, magic, and more.

The festivities begin as attendees enter the South Point Equestrian Arena concourse greeted by the Red Bucket Equine Rescue Welcome Center. While perusing the latest in equestrian fashion and tack, try the ‘Do Good and Juggle Challenge’ with Jacob Weiss of Playing by Air, create a memory at the Smash Photo Booth with fun props and interactive Vegas backdrops, capture the moment in caricatures with world-renowned artist Ken Hofbauer, seek out Modern Magician Rob Anderson, who will mesmerize you with his talents, and have Amazing Face Painting give you a new look for the night.

In addition, starting at 6:15 p.m., the winners of The Las Vegas National Saturday Spectacular Giant Giveaway will be announced. Enter the giveaway online at thelasvegasnational.com/giveaway before Friday, Nov. 10, for a chance to win over $5,000 in prizes.

The grand prize winner will take home a complete show outfit with items from Stivaleria Secchiari (available exclusively at Solea Equestrian), Romfh Equestrian Apparel, AA Platinum, GPA and Foot Huggies. The Reserve Grand Prize winner will hit the street with a list of goodies from barnstyle. Other prizes include items from WC Equestrian, Equitex, Tack of the Town and Blenheim EquiSports.

This all will happen before Opening Ceremonies. The traditional Las Vegas National Parade of Nations will kick off the action in the South Point Equestrian Arena at 7:30pm, followed by a course overview with international course designer Oscar Soberón and a performance by America’s Equestrians Got Talent winner, Ki-Juan Minors. His rendition of The National Anthem will welcome the first horse on course in the prestigious North American League event, the $100,000 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Las Vegas, presented by Interactive Mortgage.

A host of stars are coming to The Las Vegas National, CSI4*-W and entries are still coming in. Up-and-coming FEI riders Catherine Tyree, Tina Yates, Mavis Spencer and Jennifer Gates, to name just a few, will be joined by international male stars Ben Maher, Richard Spooner, Hardin Towell and Eric Navet, as well as female stars Ashlee Bond, Heather Caristo-Williams, Mandy Porter and Alison Robitaille.
