PALMDALE — The High Desert Horse Show Association show season continued in May with another popular one-day open show that once again had something for just about anybody. English classes especially picked up.

“We were excited to see additional English riders participating this show,” said Evon Kurtz, HiDHA President. “We saw very young to seasoned riders in the English arena and proud parents on the sidelines cheering them on.”

Other disciplines were well-attended, too, in a great learning environment.

“There were western, ranch horse and English trainers onsite who brought their students to get them exposed to the show world,” Kurtz added. “It was great to see trainers not only coaching but participating and showing — definitely setting a fine example for their students.

“We saw ear-to-ear grins on trainers’ faces as their students made them proud.”

HiDHA will continue its 2021 schedule with a Double-point All-Breed Show scheduled for June 6.
