Fairlea Ranch in Exeter hosted its third annual Versatility Ranch Horse show Sept. 3.
The show, the last one on the ranch’s 2011 schedule, attracted twice the entries as last year and featured Open and AQHA-approved Ranch Horse Versatility along with the limited division. Limited division competition did not include fence work or roping. Thirty-three entries competed for the total payout of $2,575, including $500-added to the open division.
“It was a great success,” said Kate Hyde of Fairlea Ranch. “Everyone had a terrific time.”
Karen Arlin finished reserve behind Torres in the open division, and Debby Sanguinetti finished in third place. Tammy Clanton was reserve champion in the limited group.
Jack Bingham judged the event, and Kathy Gould was show secretary.
