Performatz wants to make your horse comfortable, healthier, and happier — whether recovering from an injury, involved in sport competition, or on the show circuits. That’s why, as a medical foam company, it developed equine mat solutions. The lightweight 4’ x 6’ mat weighs in at only 30 pounds and can be easily transported to the trailer or show stall. The antimicrobial, non-toxic, non-porous mat can be easily lifted for hygienic cleaning. With a thickness of 1½ in., it delivers extra cushion, shock-absorption and durability. The thicker mat also provides more insulation. While every mat manufacturer offers slightly different features, Vet Equine Mats is designed to provide the most comfort and hygiene. The underside provides better drainage for horse waste with large button support. They are not slippery when wet, either. A manner of pattern formed into the surface of the mats promotes traction. The traction on a mat is the ability of the weight of the horse to sink into the mat and prevent her from slipping. Performatz are produced by Value Foam, Inc., manufacturers of medical and veterinary polymer foam and mat products. See the ad on page 27 and call 800-788-1358 for more info.
