October will be a busy cow horse month – north and south!

From Horsetrader sales staff - September 18th, 2014 - Ingate Column

California’s two major regional affiliates of the National Reined Cow Horse Association kick into high gear in October with their respective line-ups of events.

The Southern California Reined Cow Horse Association will hold its Cut for a Cause on Oct. 17 to benefit the El Rodeo Riding Club at Casner Ranch in Temecula. Then, it’s the SCRCHA Saddle Shoot-out on Oct. 18-19, featuring those who have shown in the same five SCRCHA classes this year in pursuit of the Shoot-Out and Year-End awards! Also, plan on attending the SCRCHA Last Chance Show on Nov. 14, along with the Non Pro Triple Crown, held on Nov. 15-16. There’s more info on the SCRCHA ad on page 33, and also on the club’s website at www.SCRCHA.com.

In addition to the $10,000 added to the Futurity, there will be a Saddle Shoot-Out for fence-working classes, along with a Box-Off for a buckle in the boxing classes.
