TEMECULA — Casey Deary, the Weatherford, Texas-based reiner who won the 2012 National Reining Horse Association Futurity Open title on Americasnextgunmodel, hung his hat at Tucalota Ranch in Temecula May 11-12 for a two-day clinic sponsored by the California Reining Horse Association. Deary, who taught CRHA non pros Saturday before addressing local trainers on Sunday, loved the event and the area.
“Everyone was just great to Nicole and I,” said Deary, who arrived Friday evening and flew out early Monday. “If there’s any chance they have room for me to come again, I’ll be there in a heart beat.”
Deary, who was approached by trainers Mike Berg and Bill Norwood early in the year about the visit, managed to condense his typical three-day clinics into the shortened format that was comprehensive, yet understandable.
