LEXINGTON, Ken. — Land Rover, the official automotive partner of the USEF, awardedmore than $208,000 in Competition Grants and a further $56,500 toward Training Grants to 18 horse-and-rider combinations competing at top European and American competions, including at Galway Downs.
Tiana Coudray of Ojai and Ringwood Magister were among horse-and-rider teams awarded USEF grants to compete at the Aachen CICO3*, held last June in Germany. Katherine Groesbeck of Temecula and her own Oz The Tin Man received awards for competition at the Dutta Corp Fair Hill International CCI3* last October in Maryland. Kristi Nunnink of AUburn and her R-Star receceived grants to compete at the Les Étoiles de Pau CCI4* in October in France.
The Galway Downs International Event and Horse Trial CCI3*, held in Temecula last Oct., 31-Nov. 4, had two competitors recveive Land Rover grants: Buck Davidson of Floridaon Sharon Will’s Absolute Liberty, and Allison Springer of Virginia on Copycat Chloe Syndicate.
