TEMECULA — Next Level Eventing and Tamra Smith have aquired Twizted Syster, also known as “Chloe,” a 7-year-old, Irish Sport Horse mare.

Twizted Syster, previously owned by the Team Express Group, was purchased for Smith via a group of syndicate members who will now comprise the Twizted Systers, LLC.

Twizted Syster was originally imported in 2012 to be ridden by Heather Morris of Lewisville, Texas, but was later sent to Smith to be sold by Morris, a close friend of Smith, following the mare’s allergic reactions to elements in the Texas area.

“I have thought the world of Twizted Syster since Heather Morris and Mike Huber found her in Europe,” said Smith. “When Heather asked if I would take her to be sold in California due to her allergies in Texas, I was very excited to have her at my barn.

“Over the last several months, I have developed a partnership with this talented horse, and I am very excited, thrilled and honored that the individuals in this syndicate group came together on my behalf so that I can keep the ride on her for years to come.”

Twizted Syster had successfully competed through the CCI* level with Morris prior to Smith taking over the ride, and has since moved up to the CCI2* level. Most recently, Smith and Chloe returned to Texas to compete in the American Eventing Championships together, winning the Intermediate Division amongst a competitive field
of horses.

“This is a very special horse, and I can not wait to see where our partnership leads,” Smith added. “The people involved in the Twizted Systers, LLC Syndicate are amazing, and I cannot thank them enough for making it possible for me to keep the ride on her.”

Smith and Twizted Syster plan to contest the CCI2* division at the Fair Hill International Horse Trials this month, and Morris will be cheering them on every step of the way.

“I was heartbroken when I sent Chloe to California, but I now couldn’t be happier that the one and only person in the world I would want her with, formed a partnership and fell in love with her the way I did,” said Morris. “I will be cheering them on every step of the way.”
