Banning Stagecoach Days and PRCA Rodeo is coming to Dysart Park on Sept. 9-11, and the Stagecoach Days Association is bringing back Honeycutt Rodeo and Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association on Friday and Saturday. Be sure to bring your appetite, as food and beverages will be plentiful. Live entertainment on Friday and Saturday night will be provided by Country Nation — to help you with your boot scoot boogie. Also, six-time PRCA comedy act of the year, Troy Lerwill (“The Wild Child”) will be performing Friday and Saturday evenings as well.
The event itself has been an integral community event since 1957. It was first produced by the City of Banning, then the Banning Chamber of Commerce. Since 2008, the reins have been in the hands of the non-profit Stagecoach Days Association. The event’s ongoing success is a tribute not only to the tireless efforts of the associations committee members, but also from the outstanding support and sponsorship from local businesses, residents, government agencies, and the Morongo Tribe.
Tickets will be on sale beginning Aug. 5 at Banning Community Center, Cherry Valley Feed, All Seasons Hay, Pips Hay Sales, and online at: stagecaochdays.org. For more info, see the ad on page 72, and check the website often for updates on what’s being offered this year.
