The popular four-day ETI National Spring Ride is coming June 5-8, and the sign-ups are now! Come join the Equestrian Trails group for a special riding experience based at the Chihuahua Valley Horse Camp in Warner Springs. Amenities will include individual sites with corrals, water and plenty of shade. There is an arena, a round pen, wash rack and showers. Price is $300 for ETI members and $325 for non-members signing up from May 11-31. Registration includes camp fees, dinner Thursday through breakfast on Sunday. Summer and surf go together in Southern California, and the only way to improve that mix is to add horses! The five-show Surf City Western Circuit held at the beautiful Huntington Central Park Equestrian Center in Huntington Beach brings it all together for competitors in reining, ranch riding, pleasure, horsemanship and trail who want to beat the heat, have fun and compete. The first show is scheduled for May 10, with the rest of the summer schedule set for June 14, July 12, Aug. 17 and Sept. 17. The series, presented by the Los Serranos Award Circuit, is PCHA-approved and offers fabulous year-end awards — trophies, buckles and cash!
